Maintained Mooring Prices

Our Prices Explained

The Manor of Bosham, which dates back to 1053, operate 266 moorings in Bosham Channel. These moorings have always been in high demand due to their location (as explained below) and inclusive ferry service (for mooring holders only).

Location Premium

Bosham Channel is in close proximity to the central harbour but has the advantage of not being on the main fairway and so our mooring holders do not suffer the wash from passing work boats and marina motor boats.  Bosham Channel provides stunning views in a tranquil and peaceful setting. The historic Bosham Quay (linked to the Bayeux Tapestry), at the heart of the picturesque village, is operated and maintained by the Manor and made available to all our mooring customers to use without charge. The Quay is ideal for coming alongside without incurring the charges that apply elsewhere in the harbour (electric and water available and included on a "reasonable use" basis), or for self launch or recovery, or even for dry out on our concrete pad at low tide. We also supply tenders to access your boat.

Bosham Channel is simply an idyllic and special mooring location with our friendly team on hand to help and advise. Our moorings can also be accessed from Cobnor. A final advantage of accessing your vessel at Bosham is that you can completely avoid the Wittering beach traffic jams suffered on the A286 on the best summer days!

For certain categories, we have introduced "Premium" moorings for those moorings with extra benefits:

  • Our A3 Premium moorings are particularly close to Bosham Quay and always in high demand. Shown in Light Green on the maps below.
  • Our B4 Premium moorings are close to Bosham Quay and float more of the time than our standard B4s. Shown in Yellow on the maps below.
  • Our B3 Premium moorings, being on the west side of channel, float most of the time as they are blown off by the prevailing south westerly winds. Shown in Magenta on the maps below.

Ferry

We operate an inclusive ferry service exclusively for Manor of Bosham mooring holders only. This ensures a quicker service. With a season ticket for the much busier Itchenor public ferry costing £120 per person, the advantages and value of our service is well recognised and understood by our customers.
